BMW M Product Manager for the U.S., Matt Russell, describes in 90 seconds the qualities and abilities of the new 2013 BMW M5. As we mentioned many times before, the new M5 features under the hood a high-revving 4.4-liter (4395cc) turbocharged that uses the BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology. The engine outputs 560 horsepower from 5,750-7,000 rpm and 680Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque from only 1500rpm.
The new BMW M5 goes on sale in Spring 2012 and will be offered in the United States with both a manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox.
German magazines report a 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) time of 4.1 seconds, and at 12.4 seconds, it already achieved 124 mph (200 km/h).
