Toyota NS4
Toyota has revealed a teaser shot of the concept it has in store for the Detroit Motor Show in January.
All Toyota has said about the car – called the NS4 – is that it will be powered by an advanced plug-in hybrid powertrain. Expect to see a development of the kind of set-up that features in the Prius plug-in hybrid, which allows for economy as high as 135mpg.
The teaser shot reveals intricate headlight details and bold creases in the bodywork, much like the design of the recently unveiled GT 86. The concept itself is expected to showcase the future of Toyota design.
Unveiled alongside the NS4 will be the Prius C, a supemini-sized member of the Prius family boasting emissions of around 80g/km. Toyota sources have confirmed that the Yaris hybrid would most likely be sold in the UK in place of the Prius C.
